EN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: January 9, 2008 PC Agenda Item 3.A <br />TO: Planning Commission <br />FROM: Meagan Beekman, Planner I V�v <br />SUBJECT: Planning Case #: 07-029 - Tabled <br />Variance <br />Mathew and Ann Wessberg <br />1455 Skiles Lane <br />Requested Action <br />Motion to table Planning Case 07-029 for a Variance at 1455 Skiles Lane to the February 6, <br />2008. <br />Background <br />The applicant is requesting a front yard setback variance to construct a two stall below grade <br />garage to the south side of his home. This item was tabled at the December 5, 2007 Planning <br />Commission meeting to give the applicant time to address questions raised over possible <br />alternative locations for the garage and to provide additional information about the topography of <br />the site and exact location of existing trees. <br />The applicant is in the process of addressing these concerns and is completing some additional <br />work on the site plan. Therefore, they have requested the Planning Commission table their <br />application to the February 6, 2008, meeting. <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on November 5, <br />2007. The application was tabled by the Planning Commission and Pursuant to Minnesota State <br />Statute, the applicant was provided written reasons for an additional 60 day review period. At <br />this time the City must take action on this application by March 4, 2008.
