<br />November 7'h and another on December 5th. At each meeting additional questions and concerns <br />were raised. In addition, two public hearings were held at which residents were invited to raise <br />their own questions and concerns, which they did. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission unanimously voted to recommend approval of the ordinance at their <br />December 5, 2007 meeting. The City Attorney then examined the ordinance and made minor <br />language changes dealing with redundancy within the document. No policy or regulation <br />changes were made. <br /> <br />Through this research process, meetings with the Planning Commission, and discussions with <br />various stakeholders, including the public, staff discovered that there were additional <br />opportunities to improve the ordinance and increase the ease of enforcement. The resulting <br />ordinance is a culmination of that work. Staff feels that the proposed Recreational Vehicle, <br />Utility Trai]er, and Watercraft Outdoor Storage Ordinance is a compromise that balances the <br />needs of residents who own recreational vehicles, the concerns of neighbors, and the ability to <br />effectively enforce the regulations. <br /> <br />Options <br /> <br />].
