<br />As of 01/07/08 <br /> <br />This Agreement is made this 14th day of January 2008, between the City of Arden <br />Hills, 1245 West Highway 96, Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112 (the "City") and The <br />Neighborhood Recycling Corporation, Inc. (D/B/A "Eureka Recycling"), a Minnesota non-profit <br />corporation, with its current local place of business at 2828 Kennedy Street NE, Minneapolis, <br />Minnesota 55413 (the "Contractor"). <br /> <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City supports a comprehensive residential recycling program and <br />desires that high-quality recycling services be available to all its residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City supports curbside recycling as part of an overall landfill <br />abatement program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has funding available for such residential recycling <br />services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor has submitted a proposal for comprehensive recycling <br />services to the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Contractor mutually agree as follows, in <br />consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein: <br /> <br />1. Definitions <br /> <br />1.1 nAluminum cans" <br /> <br />Disposable containers fabricated primarily of aluminum, commonly used for soda, beer, juice, <br />water or other beverages. <br /> <br />1.2 "City's annual recycling public education flyer" <br />The City publishes an annual public education flyer that contains the following recycling <br />information for City residents: <br />. Annual calendar and map of curbside recycling districts for "single family <br />dwellings" <br />. List of materials to be included for recycling <br />. List of materials excluded that cannot be recycled in the City's program <br />. General information about curbside recycling and multi-family recycling <br />instructions <br />. How to prepare materials. <br /> <br />1.3 "City's designated contact person" <br /> <br />The City has designated the Recycling Coordinator as the City's current contact for <br />management and administration of this Agreement. <br /> <br />3 <br />
