As a result of the Work Sessions in <br />August another concept was developed with less impacts to the west side of highway 10. This <br />design was discussed with the City Council at the September 17, 2007 Work Session. After <br />discussion on this design representatives from MnlDOT offered to take an independent look at <br />these projects and have an in-house team of designers attempt to come up with other options. <br />MnlDOT held an internal design meeting for this project on November 28,2007. On December <br />6, 2007 the City received copies ofthe concept and phasing options that MnlDOT designed. <br />Representatives from MnlDOT will be present at the Work Session to discuss the results oftheir <br />internal design meeting. <br /> <br />At the Work Session on January 22, staff would like the City Council to continue discussions on <br />the Highway 10/96 projects and to provide staff with direction for next steps. <br /> <br />C:\Documents and Settings\noah.simon\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK6C\1 2208 CC Worksession Memo TH 10 <br />and 96 project.doc <br />
