City of Arden Hills Chapter 12 Sign Code <br />Section 1230—Exempt and Prohibited Signs <br />1230.01 Exemptions. The following signs shall not require a permit issued by the City. <br />These exemptions, however, shall not relieve the owner of the sign from the responsibility <br />of its maintenance and its compliance with the provisions of this Chapter or any other law <br />or ordinance regulating the same. <br />Subd. 1 Official public notices or warning signs required by local, county, state or <br />federal law, including but not limited to traffic control and other regulatory purpose <br />signs; <br />Subd. 2 Signs of any size containing non-commercial sp h be posted on <br />private property with permission from the property Der fLom August 1 in any <br />general election year until ten (10) days following the ~aI election and thirteen <br />(13) weeks prior to any special election until to Swing the special <br />election provided that the signs are in comEfWceW#b Minnesota Statutes.
