Temporary banner sign shall not be displayed for more than <br /> <br />ninety (90) eonsecntive days or more than one hnndred and eighty (180) days during <br /> <br />the calendar year. <br /> <br />Subd. 4 Permit Reauirements. Sign permits shall not be required for individual <br /> <br />banner signs but shall be required where a new group massing of signage is <br /> <br />requested. <br /> <br />Subd. 5 Compliance. The applicant shall demonstrate compliance with the <br /> <br />provisions of this section (including but not limited to: the dimensions of individual <br /> <br />banner signs, the dimensions of that group of banner signs, and the total square feet <br /> <br />of temporary banner signs). <br /> <br />1250.05 Permanent Scoreboard Signs for Athletic Fields at Mounds View High School, <br /> <br />Bethel University, and Northwestern College. Athletic fields at Mounds View High School, <br /> <br />Bethel University, and Northwestern College may be permitted to have permanent <br /> <br />scoreboard signage at their athletic fields that is clearly secondary to the overall <br /> <br />appearance of the seoreboard. Such signage shall face the field of play so that the impact of <br /> <br />the signage is directed only to those utilizing the field or watching the sporting event, and <br /> <br />not surrounding property owners. The content of scoreboard signage shall comply with <br /> <br />the sponsorship sign regulations as established by Mounds View High School, Bethel <br /> <br />University, and Northwestern College, for their respective athletic fields.
