<br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: March 31, 2008 <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />Jim Willis, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Stacie Kvilvang, Project Manager <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Position Paper for Roadway Projects <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />At the March 17, 2008, Council work session, the Council discussed the above referenced <br />document that included changes requested from their March 10, 2008 Council meeting. Based <br />upon final comments received from the Council, the attached document has been updated. <br /> <br />Upon consideration and approval of this document, City staff and its transportation consultant, <br />Bolten and Menk, will work with Ramsey County, MnDOT and SEH to coordinate preparing <br />and gathering the data and information the Council will need to make decisions to progress the <br />process forward to a final conceptual design. Due to the amount of data and information that the <br />Council will need to review as it considers making various decisions, it is anticipated that <br />information will be brought back to the Council over a series of several work sessions andlor <br />Council meetings. <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br /> <br />Approval of resolution approving preliminary design positions for Interstate 694, Highway 10 <br />and County Road 96 projects <br /> <br />Attachment <br />
