<br /> <br />As Presidellt, she is responsible for overseeing the daily operations ofthe <br />firm and providing slrategic direction and key input for all research <br />projects for the firm. In addition, she also heads project assignments for <br />large-scale land use and redevelopment studies including downtown <br />revitalization for private developers and municipalities in the Twin Cities <br />and in the Upper Midwest. Mary has worked with a wide array of public <br />and private sector clients including institutional clients. She has worked <br />directly with private developers and colleges and universities on their <br />short-term and long-Ierm slUdent housing needs. She regularly testifies <br />as an expert witness for eminent domain, tax appeal and other types of <br />real estate litigation. <br /> <br />Mary regularly gIves presentations at special events, seminars and <br />workshop sessions on a variety of real estate market topics including <br />Senior Housing, Apartments, Condominiums, Downtown and <br />Community Economic Development, among others. <br /> <br />A graduate of Marquette University in Business Administration, Mary <br />also holds an M.B.A. Degree from the University of Minnesota. She is a <br />licensed real estate broker in the State of Minnesota, and holds the <br />Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) designation. <br /> <br /> <br />Ryan Bergman <br />Research Analyst <br /> <br />Mr. Bergman joined Maxfield Research in October of2005. Ryan's <br />expertise includes the analysis and interpretation of financial, statistical <br />and demographic data. His focus al Maxfield is collecting <br />data and allalyzing his findings. <br /> <br />Ryan has completed and assisted in several projects including analysis <br />for relltal and for-sale housing ill the Twin Cities Metro Area and greater <br />Minnesota, senior housing and commercial! industrial analysis for the <br />Scott County and artist housing in Northeast Minneapolis. Prior to <br />joining Maxfield, Ryan worked as an intern at Opus Northwest <br />Management While there he worked closely with property managers <br />gaining an understanding of the real eslate industry from the <br />management side. <br /> <br />In 2005 Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies <br />with a focus in World Politics and Economics from Tay]or University in <br />Indiana.
