<br />~ <br />~HlLLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />April 14, 2008 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council Members <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Noah Simon, Assistant City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Motion to authorize City Staff to Begin Summer Work Hours on June 2, <br />2008 and Conclude on August 29, 2008 <br /> <br />Overview <br />City staff is seeking City Council authorization to begin summer work hours on June 2, 2008 and <br />conclude on August 29, 2008. <br /> <br />Background <br />In the past, the City Council has authorized City staff to begin summer work hours the week after <br />the Memorial Day holiday and conclude summer work hours the Friday before Labor Day. Staff <br />proposes the following work hours for the summer of2008: <br /> <br /> Traditional Hours ProDosed Summer Hours <br />City Hall Staff 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday- 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday. <br /> Friday Thursday <br /> 7:30 am to 11:30 am on <br /> Friday <br />Maintenance Facility Staff 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday. 6:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday. <br /> Friday Thursday <br /> 6:30 am to 10:30 am on <br /> Friday <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Motion by the City Council to authorize City staffto begin summer work hours on June 2, 2008 <br />and conclude on August 29, 2008. <br />
