Since 1990, Arden Hills has grown faster than most of its neighbors and almost
as fast as Ramsey County. However, Arden Hills grew significantly slower than
the Metropolitan region, reflecting the mostly developed character of Arden Hills.
. The City's most rapid growth occurred during the 1970s.
. The City population nearly doubled between 1970 and 2000 with an 87 percent
population increase.
. Virtually all of the projected growth through 2030 is anticipated to occur on the
proposed Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCMP) property redevelopment.

DRAFT
4/18/2008

8
