The remaininQ Qroup Quarters population is in <br />smaller facilities for disabled people that are inteQrated into residential areas. which <br />are commonly referred to as Qroup homes. <br /> <br />While Qroup Quarters housinQ is calculated separatelv from traditional housinQ. it is <br />important to recoQnize this type of housinQ because it has somewhat different <br />impacts on and needs from the City. This type of housinQ can impact the City's <br />sewer. water. transportation. park. and recreation systems differently than traditional <br />types of housinQ. It is likely that the number of people livinQ in Qroup Quarters at <br />Bethel University. Presbyterian homes. and other Qroup homes will increase as <br />those facilities do have additional land to expand. In establishing its projections. the <br />Metropolitan Council is assuming full development of the buildable portion of the <br />TCAAP property by 2020 which will also represent essentially a full build-out of <br />Arden Hills.
