<br />Ms. Beekman reported that the applicant submitted a Conditional Use Permit to <br />instaII nine panel antennas on the stem of the City water tower located at 4251 <br />Femwood Street at a maximum height of 83 feet. In order to accommodate the <br />ground equipment for the new antennas, T-mobile is proposing to construct a 360 <br />square foot building adjacent to the water tower that would be given to the City <br />upon completion. She then provided backgronnd information and said Staff <br />recommends approval subject to the following ten conditions. <br /> <br /> <br />March 5, 2008, Planning Commission Meeting <br />DRAFT Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />PLANNING CASE # 08-007 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT; T-MOBILE <br />COMMUNICATIONS; 4251 FERNWOOD STREET- PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />1. The project shall be completed in accordance with the plans submitted as <br />amended by the conditions of approval. Any significant changes to these <br />plans, as determined by the City Planner, shall require review and approval by <br />the Planning Commission and City Council. <br /> <br />2. The antennas and all mounts shall be painted to match the color of the water <br />tower. <br /> <br />3. Upon removal of any equipment the applicant shall repair all holes, scratches, <br />rust, or damage to the tower caused by the supports from these antennas and <br />the tower shall be repainted the primer and matching paint to ensure that the <br />metal is protected. <br /> <br />4. All cables associated with this project shaII be properly secured and will not <br />impede the use of the access tube to the water tower. <br /> <br />5. A building permit shaII be obtained for all proposed antennas pnor to <br />installation. <br /> <br />6. A building permit shall be obtained for all proposed structures pnor to <br />installation. <br /> <br />7. The equipment building shall be constructed by T-Mobile and given to the <br />City upon completion. <br /> <br />8. Antennas shall not be instaIIed and building permits shall not be issued until a <br />lease agreement is approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />9. Any termination of the lease agreement will lead to a termination of the <br />Conditional Use Permit. <br />
