<br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />Approved: May 27, 2008 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 24,2008; 7:00 PM <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, SMALL CONFERENCE ROOM <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Stan Harpstead called to order the regular <br />City Council meeting at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Stan Harpstead; Councilmembers David Grant, Brenda Holden, <br />David McClung, Fran Holmes and Harry BruII from Personnel Decisions <br />International (by phone). <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead moved approval of the agenda (seconded by Councilmember McClung) <br />containing one item; review of assessments performed by Personnel Decisions IntI <br />on the three candidates for position of City Administrator. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Harry Brull presented findings and assessment on three candidates for tIle position of City <br />Administrator. In summary; all three are different people; they are all possible <br />candidates; all have expertise in areas of development; they are different in terms of <br />"aggressiveness"; they have different leadership styles. A discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion: Councilmember McClung moved to instruct Personnel Decision International to <br />initiate an offer to Ron Moorse, with a package containing a salary comparable to <br />his last salary of $104,000. Motion seconded by Brenda Holden. The motion <br />carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br />Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion to adjourn the <br />meeting.
