The plan-checking fee for buildings of all <br /> occupancy types, with the exception of buildings of Groups R and <br /> M Occupancies for which there shall be no plan-checking fees <br /> charged, shall be one-half of the building permit fees. <br /> (b) Where plans are incomplete, or changed so as to require <br /> additional plan-checking, an additional plan-checking fee shall <br /> be charged at a rate established by the building inspector. <br /> (c) Any number of buildings may be built from an approved <br /> plan, provided that a building permit is obtained within one <br /> hundred eighty (180) days of the date of approval, and provided <br /> that this chapter shall not have been changed or modified in any <br /> way affecting the plan between the date of such approval and the <br /> subsequent issuance of a permit. <br /> (d) Applications for which no building permit is issued <br /> within one hundred eighty (180) days following the date of <br /> application shall expire by limitation, and plans submitted <br /> for checking may thereafter be returned to the applicant or <br /> destroyed by the building inapector. The building inspector <br /> may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period <br /> not exceeding one hundred eighty (180) days upon written <br /> request by the applicant showing that circumstances beyond <br /> ' the control of the applicant have prevented action from <br /> being taken. In order to renew action on an application after <br /> expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a <br /> new plan-checking fee. (Ord. No. 191, § 10(b), 8-11-75) <br /> Sec. 6-86. Reinspection fee. <br /> , Except as elsewhere provided herein to the contrary, <br /> whenever it becomes necessary for any inspector, or his <br /> deputy, to reinspect any work found to be faulty or defective <br /> during an earlier inspection, such reinspection fee as is <br /> required in a resolution from time to time adopted by the <br /> council shall be paid by the permittee.
