f <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SIGNS § 21-9 <br /> <br /> Sec. 21-9. Special sign districts and regulations. <br /> (A) Service Stations. Signs for automobile service stations <br /> shall be regulated by the sign provisions for the zoning <br /> district in which the station is located. In addition, <br /> automobile service stations may display signs which <br /> identify current fuel prices and car wash facilities. Said <br /> signs shall be limited to a maximum of twelve (12) square <br /> feet each and shall be limited to a maximum height of ten <br /> (10) feet. This additional sign area, however, shall be <br /> considered part of the maximum allowable sign area for the <br /> subject property. Where possible, the additional signs shall <br /> be attached to the primary business sign structure. <br /> (B) Multiple Occupancy Business and Industrial Struc- <br /> tures, Shopping Centers, Office and Industrial Parks, and <br /> Planned Unit Deuelopments. A sign plan shall be required <br /> for multiple occupancy business and industrial buildings, <br /> shopping centers, office and industrial parks, and planned <br /> unit developments consisting of three (3) or more principal <br /> structures. The plan shall be reviewed by the planning <br /> commission and approved by the city council. No sign shall <br /> be constructed for an individual use unless it is consistent <br /> with the approved sign plan. <br /> (1) The above-described developments may display area <br /> identification signs consistent with applicable district <br /> provisions of this chapter. <br /> (2) Individual tenants of a multiple occupancy business <br /> or industrial structure shall be allowed a separate <br /> identification sign only if the tenants' business has an <br /> exclusive exterior entrance. The signs shall be limited <br /> to one wall-mounted sign per entrance. If four (4) or <br /> less signs are provided, the composite area shall not ' <br /> exceed the maicimum area allowed for wall-mounted <br /> signs in the district. If five (5) or more signs are <br /> provided, the maximum size of each sign shall be fifty <br /> (50) square feet. <br /> (3) For any multiple occupancy business or industrial <br /> structures, directory signs shall be permitted for each <br /> Supp. No. 3 <br /> 1231 <br /> <br /> _ <br />
