<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> UTILITIES § 28-97 <br /> <br /> See. 28-95. Maintenance. <br /> Each property owner shall be responsible at all times for <br /> the maintenance of his sewer connection to the municipal <br /> sanitary sewer system, and shall have the obligation to keep <br /> said connection in good repair, to the end that there shall be <br /> no interference or obstruction to the sewer system as a <br /> whole, nor shall there be any violation of this article, and <br /> the laws of the state. The plumbing inspector is authorized <br /> to make such inspections of the sewer connections as he <br /> may deem necessary to accomplish this purpose, and the <br /> property owner shall be responaible for carrying out such <br /> instructions as the plumbing inspector deema necessary to <br /> accomplish this purpose. (Ord. No. 49, § 10, 11-30-59) <br /> Sec. 28-96. Types of wastes prohibited-Adoption of <br /> regulations. <br /> It shall be unlawful to discharge any wastes or cause or <br /> allow any wastes to be discharged into the municipal <br /> sanitary sewer system of the city which do not comply with <br /> the waste discharge regulations and limitations on such <br /> discharges set forth in Sections 5-3 and 5-4 of Article V. of7~ <br /> the Sewage and Waste Control Rules and Regulations for ; <br /> the Metropolitan Disposal $ystem, dated December 1, 1971, <br /> as now in effect and as hereafter amended, which provisions <br /> are incorporated and adopted herein by reference and at <br /> least one copy of said rules and regulations shall be marked <br /> as the official copy of the city and filed in the office of the <br /> clerk-adminiatrator. (Ord. No. 182, § 6(a), 12-9-74) <br /> Sec. 28-97. Same-Grease, oil and sand interceptors <br /> or traps. <br /> To ensure the proper discharge of waste containing <br /> excessive amounta of grease, oil or sand, the city plumbing <br /> inspector may require that grease, oil and sand traps or <br /> interceptors be provided, which traps or interceptors shall <br /> comply in all respects with the requirements set forth in <br /> MHD126 of the Minnesota Plumbing Code, as cited in <br /> I Section 28-108, hereof; provided, however, that such trapa or <br /> 1667 ' <br />
