Miscellaneous Regulations, A <br /> The City Council of Arden Hills, Minnesota, Ordains: <br /> SECTION I. TITLE, PUR,POSE AND INTENT <br /> A. Title. <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall be known, cited as and referred to as <br /> the Arden Hills Zoning Ordinance, exeept as referred to herein <br /> where it shall be known as "this Ordinance." <br /> B. Purposes and Intent. <br /> <br /> This ordinance is enacted for the following purposes <br /> (1) To promote the general public health, safety, camfort <br /> and general welfareY of the inhabitants of the City of <br /> Arden' Hills, Minnesota ; <br /> (2) To promote the character of and preserve and enhance <br /> the properties and areas within the city; " <br /> (3) To divide the city into zones or districts on the basis <br /> of the use, location, construction, reconstruction and <br /> alteration of land and structures for residence, bu,siness <br /> and industrial purposes-; <br /> (4) To provide adequate light, air, privacy and safety; <br /> <br /> (5) To pravent the overcrowding of land by undue concen- <br /> tration of population; <br /> (6) To promote the proper use of land and structures ; <br /> (7) To fix reasonable standards to which buildings, struc- <br /> tures and land shall conform for the benefit of all; <br /> <br /> Supp. No. 21 1782 <br />
