<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> § 3-1 ARDEN HILLS CODE <br /> Drugstore: Any establishment where drugs are kept, compounded, and sold if it is at all times in charge of a <br /> <br /> registered pharmacist or of a registered assistant pharma- <br /> cist during the temporary absence of the registered <br /> pharmacist. <br /> Exclusiue liquor store: An establishment used exclusively <br /> for the sale of intoxicating liquor, cigars, cigarettes, all <br /> forms of tobacco, nonintoxicating malt beverages, and soft <br /> drinks at retail, either on sale or off sale or both. It shall be <br /> under control of an individual owner or manager. <br /> Hotel: An establishment where food and lodging are <br /> regularly furnished to transients for a price. For specific <br /> requirements with respect to a hotel, reference is made to the <br /> statutory requirements imposed thereon by Section 340.07, <br /> Subdivision 12 of Minnesota Statutes Annotated, which <br /> provisions are incorporated herein by reference. <br /> Intoxicating liquor or liquor: Distilled, fermented spiritu- <br /> ous, vinous and malt beverages containing in excess of three <br /> and two-tenths (3.2) per cent of alcohol by weight. The term <br /> does not include ethyl alcohol or neutral spirits or substitutes <br /> therefor possessing the taste, aroma, and characteristics <br /> generally attributed to ethyl alcohol or neutral spirits. <br /> Off sale: The retail sale of beer or liquor in the original <br /> package for consumption away from the premises where <br /> sold. <br /> On sale: The sale of beer or liquor for consumption on the <br /> " premises only. <br /> Original package or package: Any corked or sealed <br /> container in which the beer or liquox is placed by the <br /> ' manufacturer or distiller. <br /> Restaurant: An establishment in which the major <br /> business is preparing and serving meals to the public to be <br /> consumed on the premises. With respect to any restaurant <br /> selling intoxicating liquor in addition to food, reference is <br /> made to the statutory requirements imposed thereon by <br /> Supp. No. 1 124 <br /> <br /> <br /> ~ <br /> <br /> ~ <br />
