<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES § 3-43.1 <br /> application is for on sale or off sale, the business in <br /> connection with which the proposed licensee will operate <br /> and its location, whether applicant is owner and operator of <br /> the business, how long he has been in that business at that <br /> place, the information required under section 3-43, and such <br /> other information as the council may require from time to <br /> time. In addition to containing such information, each <br /> application for license shall be in the form prescribed by the <br /> liquor control commissioner and the bureau of criminal <br /> apprehension. No person shall make a false statement in an <br /> application. Applications for an on sale or off sale license on <br /> behatf of a corporation shall include, in addition to the <br /> . foregoing, information as to the names, addresses, and <br /> occupations of the stockholders and officers of the corpora- <br /> tion. (Ord. No. 92, § 3(1), 11-15-65) <br /> Sec. 3-43. Same-Area information required. <br /> Each application for an on sale liquor license shall include <br /> information, on forms to be provided by the city, setting <br /> forth the area in the establishment which is proposed to be <br /> utilized for the purpose of sale or consumption of liquor. The <br /> information provided as to such area shall be verified by the <br /> city clerk-administrator and report thereon promptly <br /> submitted to the council with the application. (Ord. No. 92, § <br /> 4(2), 11-15-65) <br /> Sec. 3-43.1. Same-Investigation. <br /> <br /> Upon initial application for an on sale license or upon <br /> application for transfer thereof, the police chief shall <br /> i <br /> conduct a preliminay background and financial investiga- <br /> tion of the applicant. If the council deems it to be in the <br /> public interest, it may requeat: ' <br /> (1) The police chief or the bureau of criminal apprehen- <br /> sion, through contract therewith, to conduct a more <br /> comprehensive investigation of such initial or transfer <br /> applicant; or <br /> Supp. No. 3 <br /> 133 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> _ ~J <br />
