1 § 3-52 ARDEN HILLS CODE Sec. 3-52. ftesponsibility of licensee. Every licensee under the provisions of this division shall be responsible for the conduct of his place of business and the conditions of sobriety and order in it. The act of any employee on the licensed premises authorized to sell or serve intoxicating liquors shall be deemed to be the act of the licensee as well and the licensee shall be liable for all penalties provided by this article equally with the employee. (Ord. No. 92, § 8(3), 11-15-65) Sec. 3-53. Liquor in unlicensed places. No person shall mix or prepare liquor for consumption in any public place or place of business unless it has a license to sell liquor "on-sale" or a permit from the liquor control director under Minnesota Statutes, Section 340.119 and no person shall consume liquor in any such place. (Ord. No. 92, § 8(4), 11-15-65) Sec. 3-54. Duration. All licenses issued under the provisions of this division shall expire on the last day of December of each year. Each license shall be issued for a period of one year, but if a portion of the license year has elapsed when the application is made a license may be issued for the remainder of the year for a pro rata fee. In computing sucli fee any egpired fraction of a month shall be counted as one month. (Ord. No. 92, § 4(6), 11-15-65) Sec. 3-55, ftenewals. Applications for renewal of an egisting license issued under the provisions of this division ahall be filed with the city clerk-administrator on or before November first of the year preceding the year which is the subject of the license.
