s • STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARDEN HILLS ORDINANCE NO. /O / AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SURFACE USE OF THE WATERS OF LAKE JOHANNA (62-78)r IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES Nos. 9 AND 33 The City Council of Arden Hills ordains; Section 1. Purpose, Intent and Application. As authorized by Section 3 8.32, Subd. 1 of Minnesota Statutes, as now in effect and as hereafter amended, this Ordinance is enacted for the purpose and with the intent to control and regulate the use of the waters of Lake Johanna (62-78), T. 30, R. 23, S. 33-34, Ramsey County, Minnesota, a body of water located entirely within the boundaries of the City of Arden Hiils, to promote its fullest use and enjoyment by the public in general and the citizens of the City of Arden Hills in particular; to insure safety for persons and property in connection with the use of said waters; to harmonize and integrate the varying uses of said waters; to fulfill a demand for the regulation of said waters as indicated by atqMmwf-citizens of the City of Arden Hills who responded to questionnaires circulated by the City as to the need for such regulations; and to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Arden Hills. Section 2. Adoption and Incorporation by Reference of Minnesota Waters and Watercra t Sa ety Laws and Boat and ater Sa etv Ru es an Regu ations Pramu gate y t e Minnesota Department o Natura Resources. T e Minnesota Waters and- Watercraft Safety Laws, Sections 361.01-361.29, as they now exist and are hereafter amended, and the Boat and Water Safety . Rules and Regulations promulgated by the State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, NR 200--212, as the same now exist and are hereafter amended, are hereby adopted, incorporated herein by reference, and made a part hereof as if set forth in their entirety. At least three copies of said Waters and Water- craft Safety Laws and Boat and Water Safety Rules and Regulations, so adopted, shall be marked as official copi.es and filed in t:ie office of the Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden Hills along with this Ordinance. Section 3. Violations of the Minnesota Waters and Watercraft Sa ety Laws an Boat an Water Sa ety u es an Regula- tions Promu gate y t e rlinnesota epartment o atura esources. Any person violating the Minnesota Waters and Watercraft Safety Laws and the Boat and Water Safety Rules and Regulations promulgated by the Ivlinr..esota Departi:ient of Natural Resources, adopted and incorporated herein by reference, shall be subject to the penalties and punislunent hereinafter provided.
