" <br /> 49, 141 AND 153; PROVIDING A_NEW BASIS <br /> FOR CALCULATING SEWER CHARGES ON NON- <br /> RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY; CHANGING BILLING <br /> DATES AND DELINQUENCY PROVISxONS; AND <br /> PERMITTING REDUCTION OF RATES FOR SENIOR <br /> CITIZENS OR DISAHLED CITIZENS. <br /> <br /> The Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills does <br /> hereby ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. Amendment of Section 11(A)(5) of Ord. No. <br /> 49, as Amende b Or . No. 141, Re Sewer Char es. Section <br /> 1 A) 5) o Ord. No. 49, relat ng to the charqes in the <br /> Municipal Sanitary 5ewer System, previously amended by Ord. <br /> No. 141, is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> , (5) The charge for sewer structures connected to <br /> the Arden Hills Municipal Sanitary Sewer System <br /> and not included within the foregoing categories <br /> shall be at the rate of $0.63 per 1000 gallons <br /> consumed on the subject premises during the <br /> preceding quarter. In the event that property <br /> within the category described in this Paragraph <br /> (5) is connected to the sanitary sewer system . <br /> and no water usage basis for the preceding <br /> quarter is available, as will be the case with <br /> new construction, then the sewer rate charge <br /> for such property shall be based on the <br /> estimated water usage of such property as made <br /> by the Clerk-Administrator after consultation <br /> with the Arden Hills Supervisor of Public Works, <br /> with such determination to be made on the basis <br /> of their best judgment with respect to similar <br /> usages in Arden Hills and elsewhere. <br /> In no event, however, shall any praperty con- <br /> nected to the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System <br /> be charged less than the rate charged a single- <br /> family residence as provided in Paragraph (1) <br /> hereof. <br /> Section 2. Amendment of Section 11(B) of Ord. No. 49, <br /> as Amended by Ord. No. 141, Re Bi lin Dates. Section 11(B) <br /> oF Ord. No. 9ded y Or . No. 141, is hereby amended to <br /> require billing of sewer charges for the preceding quarterly <br /> period on the 20th days of January, April, July and October of <br /> each year, ratFier than the Sth as provided in Ord.
