Amendment to Section 28-112(a) of Arden Hills <br /> Code. Section 28-112 a of the Arden Hills Code is hereby <br /> amended by deleting the phrase "Paragraphs (a) and (b)" in the <br /> fourth line thereof and substituting in the place thereof the <br /> phrase "Subsections (b) and (c)". <br /> ' Section 2. Amendment to Division 3 of Article III of Chapter <br /> 28 of the Arden Hills Code. Division 3 of Article III of Chapter <br /> 28 of the Arden Hills Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a <br /> new Section 28-114 which is entitled and reads as follows: <br /> "Sec. 28-114. Restrictions on installation of sump <br /> pump system; necessitv of obtaining <br /> ep rmit• <br /> Any person installing a su}~surface drainage system in <br /> connection with the construction of a building shaYl <br /> include as part of such system a sump pump which has a <br /> permanent discharge connection ta the exterior of the <br /> building. Any person installing a sump pump system in <br /> an existing building shall also provide such system <br /> with a permanent discharge connectian to the exterior <br /> of the building. No person shall install a subsurface <br /> drainage system in connection with new construction or <br /> the modification of an existing building without having <br /> first obtained a permit to do so from the council." <br /> Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be <br /> effective from and after its passage and publication. <br /> Passed by the Arden Hills City Countil this day of <br /> November, 1983. <br /> <br /> <br /> Robert L.
