<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ~ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ORDINANCE N0.178 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 92, <br /> THE INTOXICATING LIQUOR ORDINANCE, 8Y <br /> CHANGING CERTAIN PROVISIONS RELATING TO <br /> MINORS, BY ADDING PROVISIONS CONCERNING <br /> EVACUATION OF LICENSED PREMISES AND <br /> CONSUMPTION AFTER KOURS, AND BY IN- <br /> CREASING THE MAXIMUM FINE ASSESSABLE IN <br /> THE PENALTY PROVISION. <br /> The City Council of Arden Hills ordains: <br /> Section 1. Amendment of Section 8, Subdivision 6 of <br /> Ordinance No. 92. Subdivision 6 of SecTion B, entitled <br /> "Conditians of License", of Ordinance No. 92 is hereby - <br /> amended to read as tollows: <br /> Subdivision 6. No liquor shall be sold, furn(shed or <br /> del ivered for any purpose To any person under the age of <br /> eighteen (18) years or To a habitual drunkard or to any <br /> person obviously inTOxicated or to any of the persons To <br /> whom sale is prohibited by StaTe law. <br /> Section 2. AmendmenT o} Section 8, Subdivision 7 0} <br /> Ordinance No. 92. Subdivision 7 of Section 8, enTitled <br /> "CondiTions of Liceese", of Ordinance No. 92 is hereby <br /> amendetl To read as follows: <br /> Subdivision 7. No person under eighTeen (18) years of <br /> age shall be employed in any rooms consTitut(ng the <br /> place in which intoxicaTing liquors are sold aT reTail "on- <br /> sale", except That persons under eighteen (18) years of <br /> age may be employed as musicians or To perform the <br /> duTies of busboy or dishwashing services in places <br /> defined eiTher in ihis Ordinance or in Sec. 340.07 of <br /> Minnesota Statutes Annotated, as the case may be, as a <br /> "resTauranT", "hotel" or "moTel" serving food in rooms <br /> in which inTOxicaTing liquors are sold aT retail "on- <br /> sale". <br /> Section 3. Amendment of Section 8, Subdivision 12 0} <br /> Ordinance No. 92. Subdivision 12 of Section 8, enTiTled <br /> "Conditions of License", of Ordinance No. 92 is hereby <br /> amended To read as follows: <br /> Subdivision 12. No person, other Than the licensee and <br /> his agenTS and employees, shall remain on the licensed <br /> premises after the hour of 1:15 A.M.; provided, <br /> however, ThaT wiTh respect to any "on-sale" I icensee, no <br /> inTOxicaTing liquor shall be displayed by such licensee <br /> afTer 1:00 A.M., the hour after which the sale of in- <br /> toxicating liquor is prohibited by this Ordinance and by <br /> Sec. 340.14, Subd. 1 of MinnesoTa STatutes AnnoTaTed. <br /> Section 4. AmendmenT of Section 11 0} Ordinance No. <br /> 92. Section 11, entiTled "ReslricTions on Purchase or <br /> Consumption", of Ordinance No. 92 is hereby amended <br /> by adding Subdivision b Thereto which reads as follows: <br /> Subdivision 6: No person, including the licensee and <br /> his agents and employees, shall consume intoxicating <br /> liquor on the licensed premises after the hour of 1:15 <br /> A.M. <br /> Section S. Amendment of Section 15 of Ordinance No. <br /> 92. Section 15, entitled "Penalty" of Ordinance No. 92 is <br /> hereby amended To read as follows: <br /> Section 15. Penalty. Any person violaTing any <br /> provision of This Ordinance shail be guilty of a <br /> misdemeanor and upon conviciion shall be punished by <br /> a fine of not more ihan $300.00 or imprisonment in the <br /> CounTy Jail for not more ihan ninety (90) days, or both. <br /> Section 6. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in <br /> effect from and afTer the daTe of its passage and <br /> publicaTion. <br /> Passed by the City Council ihis 131h day of May, 1974. <br /> Henry J.
