<br />.. <br />~.LS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-036 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RICE CREEK NORTH REGIONAL TRAIL <br />WILDLIFE CORRIDOR HABITAT RESTORATION PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in June 2006, the United States Government conveyed the Rice Creek <br />Corridor through Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP) to Ramsey County Parks <br />and Recreation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County Parks and Recreation prepared the Rice Creek North <br />Regional Trail Wildlife Habitat Restoration Plan with the intent to guide future mitigation <br />and remediation efforts on the overall site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Commission approved the <br />plan in April, 2008 and would,like to secure the City of Arden Hill's concurrence with the <br />plan in order to work together on achieving common goals for the wildlife corridor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County Parks and Recreation presented the Rice Creek North <br />Regional Trail Wildlife Corridor Habitat Restoration Plan to the City of Arden Hills Parks, <br />Trails, and Recreation Committee on June 17, 2008 and that group made a motion to <br />recommend the City Council approve the plan; and <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The City of Arden Hills approves the Rice <br />Creek North Regional Trail Wildlife Corridor Habitat Restoration Plan. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />THIS 28TH DAY OF JULY, 2008. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br />Y ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />\\Metro-inet.us\ardenhills\Admin\Council\Resolutions\2008\2008-036, Approving the Rice Creek North Regional Trail Wildlife Corridor Habitat Restoration Plan.doc <br />
