<br />10/10/2008 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />The initial cost planned for this project was $45,000, based on the amount remaining to satisfy <br />the expenditure requirements of the I & I surcharge. <br /> <br />The cost of $61,900 is $16,900 beyond the planned cost. The additional cost can be credited to <br />the 2009 surcharge amount. It is recommended that the additional expenditures be incurred in <br />2008, rather than delaying the related repairs until 2009. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Authorize Staff to Contract with Infratech for a manhole rehabilitation project in an Amount Not <br />to exceed $61,900. <br />
