LOS D is <br />considered acceptable in urban conditions. The photos on the <br />left represent some of the LOS grades (from a signal controlled <br />intersection in San Jose, CA). <br /> <br />The LOS results for the existing study hours are shown in <br />Table 3.2. These are based on the existing traffic control and <br />lane configurations as shown in Figure 3.1. The existing <br />turning movement volumes from Figure 3.2 were used in the <br />LOS calculations. The LOS calculations were done using <br />SYNCHRO™ software. Ramsey County's existing timing <br />plans were used in the analyses.
