MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2008 <br />6:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Clayton Larson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present were: Chair Clayton Larson, and Commissioners Janet Stodola, Elizabeth <br />Modesette, Roberta Thompson, Andy Holewa, and David Sand (Alternate). <br />Absent were: Commissioners Clayton Zimmerman and Daniel Reiff. <br />Also present were: City Planner I Meagan Beekman and Recording Secretary Bonita <br />Kaska. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA — AUGUST 6, 2008 <br />The agenda was accepted as presented. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES — JULY 2, 2008, PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Commissioner Holewa moved, seconded by Commissioner Sand, to approve the July 2, <br />2008, Minutes, as presented. <br />The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br />PLANNING CASES <br />A. PLANNING CASE #08-019; Minor Subdivision, Lot Consolidation, and Rezonin ; <br />1330 Indian Oaks Circle; City of Arden Hills — Public Hearin <br />City Planner I Meagan Beekman reported that the City of Arden Hills is requesting a <br />minor subdivision and lot consolidation to subdivide a 1,011 square foot portion of a 6.67 <br />acre (72,745 square feet) City -owned parcel and consolidate it with a residential property <br />located at 1330 Indian Oaks Circle. In addition, the City requests that the subdivided <br />portion be rezoned from I-1, Limited Industrial, to R-1, Single Family Residential. She <br />provided background and stated that the Staff recommended approval, subject to the <br />following condition: <br />1. The City shall file the minor subdivision and consolidation with the Ramsey County <br />recorder. <br />
