The CIP <br />reflects the projected capital expenditure needs over the next five years. The CIP is a planning <br />tool that enables a broader and longer term view of expenditures and related funding sources. It <br />is not a document that finalizes decisions or authorizes specific purchases. <br /> <br />Council Direction Requested <br />At the work session, the Council will have an opportunity to discuss their long term views <br />regarding the various categories of capital expenditures, particularly capital improvements and <br />equipment replacement.
