<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: December 1,2008 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Sue Iverson, Finance Director/Treasurer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Adjusting Special Assessment Roll for Tax Parcel 34-30-23-22-0028 <br /> <br />Back2round: <br />On September 17, 2007 the City Council adopted Resolution 07-68 which adjusted the Special <br />Assessment Roll for Tax Parcel 34-30-23-22-0028. The resolution stated that the remaining <br />balance as of 1/1/08 would be $2,733 which was incorrect. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />The correct balance on 1/1/08 should have been $2,333,31. Council needs to approve a <br />resolution correcting this balance which staffmust then file with Ramsey County. Staff will <br />refund the property owner for any overpayment of taxes and interest in 2008 as a result of the <br />incorrect assessment. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br />Motion to adopting Resolution No. 2008-056, a Resolution adjusting the special assessment roll <br />for tax parcels 34-30-23-22-0028. <br />
