Moorse, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Sue Iverson, Finance Director <br />Pang Silseth, Accounting Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Resolution 2008-059: Adopting and confirming annual special assessments for <br />delinquent utilities <br /> <br />Backf!round: <br />A list of utility accounts with a past due balance as of September 30th was compiled. Those <br />utility customers and property owners were notified in early October of their delinquent account <br />status and were asked to pay the delinquent balance by November 30, 2008. Utility accounts <br />with an unpaid delinquent balance after November 30th would be certified to Ramsey County for <br />the delinquent balance plus an eight percent penalty, which would be included with property <br />taxes payable in 2009. <br /> <br />Discus\sion: <br />The list of delinqyent utility accounts, as of December 1,2008, is attached.
