<br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: February 9, 2009 <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Community Development Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2008 Community Development Department Year-in-Review <br /> <br />2008 Year in Review Summary <br /> <br />· Processed 33 planning cases with 41 land use requests, the same number as in 2007. <br />· The City had 10 ordinance amendments or additions, including the B2District design <br />standards, tree preservation, landscaping, sign, and recycling/garbage collection <br />ordinances. <br />· Completed the 2030 Comprehensive Plan update and submitted it to the Metropolitan <br />Council by the deadline date of December 31, 2008. <br />· Completed the community planning process and adopted the "Guiding Plan for the B2 <br />District.
