<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: May 26,2009 <br /> <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br /> <br />FROM: James Lehnhoff, Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Appoint Dan Erickson to the Economic Development Commission <br /> <br />ReQuesteclAction <br /> <br />Motion to approve Resolution 2009-0] 2 appointing Dan Erickson to the Economie Deve]opment <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Backeround <br /> <br />On May ]2, 2009, the Ed von Holtum, Chair of the Economic Development Commission (EDC), <br />Brenda Holden, Council Liaison to the EDC, and James Lehnhoffinterviewed Dan Erickson for <br />one of the four open positions on the EDC. The interview committee informed Mayor Harpstead <br />of the interview, and he has nominated Mr. Erickson for the EDC. <br /> <br />If approved, Mr. Erickson's appointment would expire on December 3],20] 1. One of the other <br />open positions would expire at the end of 2009 and the other two would expire at the end of <br />2010. <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br />.
