<br />Exhibit A to Amendment Number One (1), <br />dated June 24, 2009. <br /> <br />Scope of Work <br /> <br />The scope of work included in the Agreement shall be amended as follows: <br /> <br />A. Trail Final Design <br /> <br />The scope of proposed improvements under Task 2.5, Final Design Plans & Teclmical <br />Special Provisions, shall be amended to include a trail from Old Snelling Avenue to the <br />new structure over Snelling Avenue. Additional plan sheets including details, erosion <br />and sediment control, traffic control, plan/profile, and cross sections will be included <br />detailing the proposed improvements associated with this segment of trail. We will also <br />prepare teclmical special provisions for the trail. Based on field investigations, we <br />anticipate the improvements required for the trail will include retaining walt We have <br />assumed that the proposed retaining wall will be modular block consistent with Mn/DOT <br />and Federal Aid standards. <br /> <br />B. Project Manual <br /> <br />Task 2.5 shall be amended to include preparation of the project manual, which will <br />include bidding documents, general contract conditions, and technical specifications <br />required for the bidding of the proposed improvements. <br /> <br />Schedule <br /> <br />Upon authorization of work tasks, we will provide these additional services as expeditiously as <br />practicable to meet a mutually agreed upon schedule" <br /> <br />Fee <br /> <br />Consistent with the Agreement, Kirnley-Horn will provide the scope of services on a labor fee <br />plus expense basis. Labor fee will be billed according to our 2009 standard hourly rate schedule, <br />which is subject to annual adjustment. An amount equal to 6.0% of Kimley-Hom labor fee will <br />be added to each invoice to cover certain other expenses such as in-house duplicating, local <br />mileage, telephone calls, facsimiles, postage, and word processing. All permitting, application, <br />and similar project fees will be paid directly by the Client.
