Council directed staff to work on finding cost savings within the project. <br />During this process, Michelle Olson and James Lehnhoff approached Daniel Riehle from Boston <br />Scientific regarding a possible donation toward the Safe Routes to School Project. Daniel Riehle <br />from Boston Scientific researched the possibilities and informed the City that they would like to <br />make a donation of $10,000. The only stipulation given regarding the donation is that it would <br />be utilized for the Safe Routes to School Program. <br /> <br />Staff extends their appreciation to Boston Scientific for their generous donation. The Safe <br />Routes to School Project is tentatively scheduled for construction sometime in the spring of <br />2010.
