He has Parkinson's disease, and I am his P in-io"-- my beha'f as his rary caregr4Ver, am petitioning you on his belha If, 1.11 p rimart' caregiver, and as trustee of the family trust under whicn we manage I=- this home, for a variance to build a main floor bedroom/bath at 1126 Benton WX7 a forth%e� purpose to.. accommodate mv fath. r's afe continued tl'vinoC5 requirements. Although still active and independent., my father's Parkinson's now require hire to establish single -floor living conditions. The main floor at 1126 Benton Way contains a living, dining and kitchen area, but no bathroom nor bedroom, and no space to accommodate them within its current walls. One must travel up or down a flight of stairs to use the bathroom or to sleep/dress. This is will become an unacceptable scenario for my father to continue with. We are obliged to either create a bed/bath addition to the iii -,t(.1 elsewhic-n-t-e. S*nf-,-e *t rema"ins mainfloor,or have him forfeit this home to an ideal location - proximity to me at 1129 Benton Way, my father's immense joy in photographing the nature in the pond next to his home, and �i�� social bond html has with the other neighbors - oUr famj* J.v is rrepared to invest in an addition to the home to create a main floor bedroom and bath.
