<br /> <br />NIGHT TO UNITE 2009 <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />* 'i<'" ) <br /> <br />.. <br />~ <br />NiGHT to UNiTE! <br /> <br />Neighbors Joining Together <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association, along with AAA of Minnesota / Iowa is sponsoring <br />a nationwide crime prevention program on Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 entitled "Night to Unite"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the "Night to Unite" provides a unique opportunity for the City of Arden Hills to join forces with <br />thousands of other communities across the country in promoting cooperative, police-community crime <br />prevention efforts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arden Hills plays a vital role in assisting the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department through joint <br />crime prevention efforts in Arden Hills and is supporting "Night to Unite 2009" locally; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is essential that the citizens of Arden Hills be aware of the importance of crime prevention <br />programs and the impact that their participation can have on reducing crime in Arden Hills; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, police-community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and cooperation are important <br />themes of the "Night to Unite" program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mayor, Stan Harp stead, and WE, Council Members, David Grant, Brenda Holden, <br />Fran Holmes, and Dave McClung, DO HEREBY CALL UPON ALL CITIZENS OF ARDEN HILLS, <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, to join the RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT the MINNESOTA <br />CRIME PREVENTION ASSOCIATION AND AAA OF MINNESOTA / IOWA in supporting the "Night to <br />Unite" on August 4th, 2009. <br /> <br />FURTHER, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT I, Mayor, Stan Harpstead, and WE, Council Members, , <br />David Grant, Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, and Dave McClung, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 <br />as "Night to Unite" in Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Mayor, Stan Harpstead <br /> <br />Council Member, David Grant <br /> <br />Council Member, Brenda Holden <br /> <br />Council Member, Fran Holmes <br /> <br />Council Member, Dave McClung <br />
