Motion to Approve Temporary Working Foreman Pay <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Mayor Harpstead seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion <br />carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />5. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Motion to Award the Tree Removal and Related Services Contract <br />to Precision Landscape and Tree for 2009 <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked if the City was providing a 5% increase on the <br />contract this year. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Gregory Hoag stated that when the contract was <br />originally written and bid out in 2006 for the years 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010, it <br />was written that the contract could be renewed for 2008 with no increase and <br />renewed for 2009 and 2010 with a 5% increase provided the City had received good <br />service. Precision Landscape and Tree is not going to increase the contract 5% for <br />2009. <br />
