Subd. 23 Building, Accessory Structure or Use. A subordinate building structure or use which is located on the same lot on which the principal building or use is situated and which is reasonable necessary, appropriate and incidental to the conduct of the primary use of such principal building or principal use. The vertical distance from the average elevation of the grade along a face of a building to the highest point of the roof surface of flat roofs, the deck line of mansard roofs, or the average height between the eaves and the highest ridge of gable, hip, or gambrel roofs. The height of a stepped or terraced building shall be the height of the tallest segment of the building. Subd. 26 Building inspector. The inspector as provided for in the building code. Subd. 27 Building, principal. A building in which the principal use, of the lot on which it is located, is conducted. Subd. 28 Bulk.
