<br />Agreement PW 2009-13 <br /> <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />WITH CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />EVP Installation <br /> <br />Estimated Amount Payable <br />to Ramsey County <br /> <br />M.S.A.P. 187-030-001 <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />Engineers Estimate <br /> <br />Costs <br />EVP Installation <br />Engineering Fees (8%) <br />TOTAL <br /> <br />$23,500.00 <br />$1~880.00 <br />$25,380.00 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, ("Agreement") is hereby entered into by and between the City of <br />Arden Hills, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City," and Ramsey County, a <br />political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the "County."; <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the County desire to install Emergency Vehicle Preemption <br />(EVP) at the signalized intersections of County Road E & TH 51 East and West Ramps, County <br />Road E & Pine Tree Drive, Lexington Avenue & Grey Fox Road, Lexington & Red Fox Road, <br />Lexington Avenue & 1-694 South and North Ramps; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, County Road E is designated County State Aid Highway 15 and Lexington <br />Avenue is designated County State Aid Highway 51 and are in the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has determined that it is feasible, practical, and technically proper <br />to provide for the EVP installation at the above mentioned intersections; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has prepared or will prepare the necessary designs, plans, <br />specifications, estimates, proposals and approvals in accordance with funding requirements to <br />install the EVP systems; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project has been designated as eligible for MSAH funds, reimbursement <br />as S.A.P. 187-030-001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City construction cost participation for the EVPs is included in this Agreement <br />and the ownership, maintenance and operation of the signals is covered in existing agreements <br />89025-County Road E & TH 51 West Ramp, 89026-County Road E & TH 51 East Ramp, 89027 - <br />County Road E & Pine Tree Drive, 89029-Lexington Avenue & Grey Fox Road, 89030-Lexington <br /> <br />PW 2009-13 <br />
