PID ~ 28-30-23-31-0030 Dear Resident: On July 14, 2009, the City of Arden Hills investigated an ongoing complaint and re-inspected your property. It was determined that there is a" continuing violation of the City Nuisance and Offenses Code: . Section 602.02, Subd. 6. All noxious weeds and other growths of vegetation upon"public or private property in excess of eight (8) inches. Please take the necessary corrective action by the. close of the busio.ess day on July 27, 2009, to remediate the above violation. If the violation is not remediated by the required date, the City will order abatement as allowed WIder Section 602.07, Accelerated Abatement Procedure, of the Arden Hills City Code due to previous and continuing violations of this regulation. A copy of that document was sent to you in a similar letter sent to you dated 5/27/09. This is the final notice of the same, continuing violation. If the corrective action has not been taken by the required date, the City Council will hold a hearing at 7 pm on Monday, July 27, 2009, at Arden Hills City Hall, 1245 West Highway 96. You have the right to appear at that hearing. At that meeting, the Council can order the abatement of the above described nuisance. The abatement order can be continued for up to two years. An abatement order allows the City to have the necessary work completed to remediate the nuisance and charge 125 percent of the cost of the work, including administrative costs, back to the property owner" The charges can be certified against the property taxes for collection if they are unpaid. If the required remediation action takes place prior to the hearing and/or compliance date, please call for a reinspection at (651) 792-7813. .
