EN HILLS <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO.2009-021 <br />A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF A NOISE WALL TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON <br />THE NORTH SIDE OF COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 96 BETWEEN TRUNK <br />HIGHWAY 10 AND INTERSTATE 35-W <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to requirements established by Federal law, U.S. Department <br />of Transportation regulations, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and Mn/DOT noise <br />analysis guidelines; and <br />WHEREAS, a noise analysis related to the construction of a new intersection at <br />County State Aid Highway 96 and Trunk Highway 10 identifies a benefit to properties on the <br />northwest quadrant of the intersection from the construction of a noise wall; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has held a hearing to receive comment from <br />benefitting properties; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The City of Arden Hills hereby supports the <br />construction of a 10-foot or 20-foot noise wall on the north side of County State Aid <br />Highway 96 between Trunk Highway 10 and Interstate 35-W as a part of the construction of <br />a new intersection as proposed <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 14TH <br />DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2009. <br />Stanley D.
