Prol2er_ty Description
All that part of the following described tract:
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
21, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, lying southerly of
State Trunk Highway 100, now Interstate 694 and North of County Road F;
Which lies Easterly of the following described line:
From a point on the West line of said Section 211 distant 832.5 feet
North of the Southwest corner thereof, run Northeasterly at an angle of 85
degrees 19 minutes with said West Section line for 416.6 feet; thence deflect
to the right on a 1 degree 00 minute curve (delta angle 14 degrees 12
minutes) for 1420 feet; thence on tangent to said curve for 111.7 feet to the
point of beginning of the line to be described; thence deflect to the right at
an angle of 90 degrees 00 minutes for 650 feet and there terminating.
Subject to County Road F over the Southerly 33 feet thereof.
Brief Description of Request
First Student, Inc. requests an amendment to the Conditional Use permit
that was issued to Ryder Student Transportation in 1994. Next year will be
the 50 year anniversary of our facility operating as a bus terminal, and
serving the families and students of the Mounds View School District ISD
#621 since it was constructed and first commenced operation in 1960.
We request changing the mix of buses from 150 large buses and 20 small
buses to a maximum of 150 large buses and a total maximum number of
buses to 175. This is necessary due to the continually growing special needs
transportation in our schools. This changing mix from large buses to small
buses appears to be long term.
