Arden Village Letter of Support(continued) <br /> Finance Director Iverson stated that it was somewhere between 1993 and 1995. <br /> Mayor Harpstead stated that it was not at $40,000 a year right away and would <br /> have only been at this level in the last few years. <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated that there were about 53 units. <br /> Community Development Director Lehnhoff stated that both developments had <br /> 50 to 60 units. Cottage Villas also used housing tax credits. <br /> Councilmember Holmes asked what was located to the west of the proposed <br /> development. <br /> Community Development Director Lehnhoff stated that there is an office <br /> building owned by Bethel University to the west of the proposed development. <br /> Councilmember Holmes asked for clarification where the building would be <br /> located on the property. <br /> Mr. Thelen stated that the building would sit lengthwise perpendicular to County <br /> Road F. The parking lot would be located on the east side of the property. The <br /> entrance would be lined up with the entrance that is across the street. <br /> Mayor Harpstead asked if the underground parking would be accessed from the <br /> south. He also asked if there was a mix of apartments. - <br /> Mr. Thelen stated that the underground parking was accessed from the south side. <br /> He also stated that there building would have a mix of mostly two and three <br /> bedroom apartments; 34 — two bedroom units, 15 — three bedroom units, and 6 — <br /> one bedroom units. <br /> Mayor Harpstead stated that there was a concept of a tot play area. <br /> Mr. Thelen stated that all of the developments have a tot play area. There are also <br /> grills and a basketball court area. They will try to have as many amenities on site as <br /> possible. <br /> Councilmember Holden asked what the area was currently zoned. <br /> Community Development Director Lehnhoff stated that it is currently zoned <br /> Industrial 1. <br />
