Michelle Olson
...........................................................
From: aanerud4@comcast.net
Sent: Tuesday, September 22, 2009 2:06 PM
To: Michelle Olson
Subject: park funding bill
Attachments: Doc1.doc
It is attached (two pages)
so far have been asked to add "local and regional" after the word means in like 1.9 and after
board in 1.14 by the three rivers regional parks board, who with those changes endorse it.
In lines 1.19 a number of people have asked that 'both inside and outside the corporate limits"
be eliminated - I have no strong feeling about it.
Line 2.6 someone has asked that we add 'but not against government owned property" I
guess some sewer system assessments have been charged to park land and they want to
insure that doesn't happen here..1 have no objections.
some people do not like 2.24 through 2.26 and they want any excess money to go back. The
problem is that I don't think the counties have a mechanism to do that, but again I have no
objection.
There are local options in line 2.8 and line 2.17
This has been endorsed by the Anoka County parks, City of Ham Lake, City managers and
mayors and city council members of a number of cities.
It has been introduced and will get a hearing sometimes after January 1010.
11/10/2009
