COUNCIL COMMENTS AND REQUESTS
Councilmember Grant stated that the Sump Pump Inspection report shows how
many units did not pass each week and how many have been corrected but it does
not show if any of those units that have not been corrected were over the sixty days
that the City allowed. He requested that the report reflect this information in the
future.
Councilmember Holden asked if there was a plan for handling those units that
have not complied within the sixty days.
Councilmember Holden asked if the situation in Mr. Nelson's backyard and the
trail would be coming before the Council soon. She also asked if the stop sign
policy would be coming to the Council.
City Administrator Moorse stated that both items would be before the Council in
September.
Councilmember Holden asked how it was going with meeting with the other
jurisdictions regarding Valentine Park.
Civil Engineer Giga stated that a meeting date had not been set yet. She stated she
was following up with Rice Creek Water Shed to get this set up.
Councilmember Holden asked where the City was with the manhole bids.
Mayor Harpstead stated that this could be updated in the Admin Update since the
Public Works Director was not at the meeting.
Councilmember Holden asked if the Army/GSA were working on the public sale
process.
City Administrator Moorse stated that there has not been much done in this area.
