City of Arden Hills Chapter 13 Zoning Code <br />Subd. 17 Board. The board of appeals and adjustment established by this Code. <br />Subd. 18 Boardinghouse. A subordinate building <br />structure or use which is located on the same lot on which the principal building or <br />use is situated and which is reasonable necessary, appropriate and incidental to the <br />conduct of the primary use of such principal building or principal use. <br />24Subd. 23Building envelope. (See Lot, Buildable portion of.) <br />. Subd. 24Building height. The vertical distance from the average elevation <br />of the grade along a face of a building to the highest point of the roof surface of flat <br />roofs, the deck line of mansard roofs, or the average height between the eaves and the <br />highest ridge of gable, hip, or gambrel roofs. The height of a stepped or terraced <br />building shall be the height of the tallest segment of the building. <br />Sb�- :-:Subd. 25Building inspector. The inspector as provided for in the building <br />code. <br />S-u-bd:-Subd. 26Building, principal. A building in which the principal use, of the <br />lot on which it is located, is conducted. <br />Su Subd. 27Bulk.
