Boat docks and storage, water recreation equipment and <br />other uses normally associated with to lakeshore property. <br />Subd. 197 wetlands. Transitional lLow-lying areas--i-eh between terrestrial and <br />aquatic systems., either created or natural, covered with shallow and <br />sometimes temporary or intermittent waters as defined in the United States Fish and <br />Wildlife Service Circulator No. 39. This includes, but is not limited to sSwamps, <br />marsehes, bogs, slougbs, wet meadows and shallow lakes and ponds with emergent <br />vegetation. <br />Subd. 198 wetland Alteration. Alteration of a wetland includes changes to the <br />wetland and/or wetland buffer strip in regards to size doth or contour; dred in . <br />tillin . dammin . alteration of the watercourse• ditching; thin radin • drainin • <br />discharge of water; appropriation of water; changes in vegetation; or otherwise <br />altering; or destroying r a wetland or wetland buffer or their functions. Alterations <br />would not include Native Vegetation plantings or selective cleari'Lig or pruning of <br />prohibited or restricted noxious weeds, unless within a Drainage and Utility Easement <br />in which case submission of and written approval by the City is required. <br />Subd. 199 wetland Buffer Stri . An area of vegetated ground cover around the <br />perimeter of a wetland that either in its natural condition or through intervention has <br />the characteristics of buffering the wetland from surrounding landscaping. <br />Subd. 200 Wetland Delineation. An assessment tool utilized to determine the <br />boundary of a wetland using the US Army Colps of En ineers wetland Delineation <br />Manual (January 1987) as well as any additional boundary determination <br />requirements established in Minnesota Rules Chapter 8420. A "wetland Delineation <br />Report" is a document that summarizes the observations, results and conclusions <br />performed during the assessment when wetlands are present <br />9 %9 <br />d 4ri44 or � Aandrn-g-~, <br />JQRSUbd. 201 Yard, front. A yard extending along the full length of the <br />front lot line between the side lot lines. <br />Su-bd.4-99Subd.202 Yard, minimum required. The minimum open space <br />extending between a minimum building setback line and the adjoining lot line in <br />which a principle building may not be placed and in which accessory buildings may <br />only be placed as regulated in this Code. <br />�ubd,��BSubd. 203 Yard, rear.
