Mr. Steve VVraneschetz, 3947 Rolling Hills Road, Arden Hills, stated that before <br />bleachers are installed the problem with foul balls landing in residents yards should be <br />addressed. He stated that the foul balls pose a safety issue for residents and their <br />families. <br />Mr. Tim O'Malley, 1851 Gramsie Road, Arden Hills, stated that foul balls are still a <br />concern including the safety and liability of residents. He also expressed concerns about <br />privacy since both kids and adults are j umping over the fence to retrieve foul balls. <br />Chair Larson asked Mr. Madison what the proposal was for correcting the issues with the <br />foul balls. <br />Mr. Madison stated that they were in the study phase and did not have a proposal or <br />timeline for completion at this time. <br />Commissioner Holewa stated that the residents have expressed concerns about where the <br />netting is currently being stored. <br />Mr. Madison stated that he had been unaware of this and would work with the residents <br />to find a solution. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the need for a plan to address the problems with the foul <br />balls including the liability and the trespassing problems this imposes on residents. <br />Chair Larson closed the Public Hearing at 7:21 p.m. <br />Commissioner Holewa moved, seconded b_y Commissioner Sand, to recommend <br />tablin� Plannin� Case 09-016, Conditional Use Permit Amendment; 1900 Lake <br />Valentine Road; Mounds View Hi�h School, for further information re�ardin� the <br />resolution of foul balls and trespassin� , in, resident's _yards. The motion carried <br />unanimousl_y. <br />
