"'o t ----AVEN HILLS MEMORANDUM DATE: March 3, 2010 PC Agenda Item S.A TO: Planning Commission FROM: Meagan Beekman, City Planner SUBJECT: Report from the City Council February 22, 2010, City Council Meeting The City Council unanimously approved Planning Case 09-016 for a CUP Amendment and Site Plan Review to allow Mounds view High School to install a stand of bleachers and a foul ball netting system. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this item at the February 3, 2010, meeting. The City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Samuel Scott to fulfill the remaining year in Janet Stodola's term on the Planning Commission. The City Council unanimously approved Planning Case 10-002 for a minor subdivision and lot consolidation at 1225 Amble Road. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this item at the February 3, 2010, meeting. The City Council voted 4-1 (Holden dissenting) to approve Planning Case 09-003 amending the City's Shoreland Regulations. The Planning Commission was not able to come to a majority agreement on this item and it moved forward to the City Council without a recommendation. The City Council voted to keep the "minus ten feet's language and add some additional language to clarify the regulation. The exact language regarding the "Adjacent Lots" regulation was approved as follows: Subd. 4 Adjacent Lots.
